Tamil Nadu Social Watch

 

Tamil Nadu Social Watch (TNSW) came into existence against the back drop of obstacles in the process of governance in Tamil Nadu, which prevents the government performing at optimal level. Like minded civil society organizations, voluntary organizations, media, members of academia came on a common platform with aim of materializing the common aspiration of the people in the state.

It is actively engaged in monitoring the performances of the institutions of governance in the state. TNSW through its research and advocacy creates an enabling environment for citizens and the government to identify the hindrances and there by enable them to remove the same so that the latter meets the expectations of the former.
