Chattisgarh Social Watch

Chattisgarh Social Watch (CSW) was formed in 2005. Like minded CSOs, VSOs, NGOs, academia came on a platform to influence the process of administration in Chattisgarh.  Its focus areas are issues of primary education, health care with respect to marginalized sections of the society, industrialisation and pollution, privatisation of water, farming, women rights and human rights.

CSW directed its energy toward inspecting and strengthening the performances of the institutions of governance. It published a report on Governance and Development in Chattisgarh in 2008 focusing on pressing concern of the state which it believes can be removed through improving the process of administration and governance.
